Best BBA College in Lucknow, UP
Educational Objectives
BBA is a three-year programme comprising six semesters that aims at providing inputs to the students relevant to business, industry, and trade so that they can function in different organizations and face the challenges arising therefrom. The programme not only aims at providing knowledge and skills in different areas of management, but also provides inputs necessary for the overall development of the students’ personalities.
The courses of the programme are divided into six categories: core courses (C), discipline-specific electives (DSE), ability enhancement compulsory courses (AECC), generic electives (GE), skill enhancement courses (SEC), and open electives (OE). An open elective allows students to choose from a variety of courses offered by other schools at the university.
The structure of the programme is designed in such a way that students study the core courses from different functional areas of management that are made compulsory. Right from the beginning of the programme, the focus is on providing relevant inputs through case discussion and analysis, simulation games, role plays, etc., keeping in mind the current business scenario.
A research project has to be submitted as part of the compulsory subjects of the sixth semester.
